The second-generation SRX, given last summer’s gas prices, is certainly moving the nameplate in the right direction at the right time. The latest SRX swaps a rear-drive 7-passenger platform with a V-8 option to a front-wheel drive 5-passenger configuration with two V-6 options. All-wheel-drive will be offered as an option and the premium engine, displacing 2.8 liters, will be turbocharged.
